Terms and Conditions

Customers using any part of this website are bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

PAYMENT
All prices are quoted in Euro and are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise specified.
Postage and packing prices will be charged in addition to the price of any goods.
Online payment will be provided in a secure environment. Payments must be made in Euro and by one of the following credit card payment methods: Visa Credit/Debit, MasterCard Credit/ Debit, Diners Card, Laser and Maestro (Switch UK) and JCB. Glenstal Abbey retains ownership of the goods until full payment has been made by the customer and the funds have been cleared.

DELIVERY
Ireland Delivery Times: Up to 3 working days.
Mainland UK Delivery times: Up to 5 working days.
Mainland Europe and International Delivery Times: Will vary depending on the destination.
Any products not available at the time of your order will be sent, as soon as possible when production of the products is complete

International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees (each, an “Import Fee”) levied by your country’s customs department upon arrival. When ordering from the Site, the recipient of the shipment is the importer of record and is responsible for any of these Import Fees, as well as complying with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for more information. Customs fees may be applied after the package is received. Packages may be held at the local sorting facility until customs are paid.

We are not responsible for refunds if packages are refused due to high Import Fees, packages are not picked up by the recipient of the shipment, packages cannot clear customs due to import restrictions of the destination country or items are missing because they are confiscated by customs.

We are not responsible for packages delivered by forwarding agencies, including the contents or delivery, once the shipment has arrived to the shipping address provided at time of checkout.

DAMAGED/REJECTED GOODS
The Customer must inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt and are deemed to have accepted the goods unless the Customer notifies Glenstal Abbey that the goods are rejected within 7 days after their receipt. (This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights). If no such action has been taken, Glenstal Abbey will consider the products as being of satisfactory quality to the customer and fit for their purposes and may not accept any rejections later. Where goods purchased from this website have been received damaged, a refund/exchange application will only be acknowledged if the goods are returned together with their original packaging within 7 days of receipt to Glenstal Abbey, Murroe, Co Limerick V94 A725 Rep of Ireland.

RETURNS PROCEDURE
The Customer must send all returns within 7 days of receipt to Glenstal Abbey, Murroe, Co Limerick V94 A725 Rep of Ireland.

Where the rejection of the goods is due to a defect or discrepancy in the order, the Customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The card used for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase and delivery costs. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to Glenstal Abbey before the refund or replacement can be issued. When returning items, you are advised to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are only accepted before the order has been dispatched. If the order has been dispatched prior to the cancellation, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment. PRIVACY POLICY
While you are using this site, and during the ordering process, any information and data collected from you will be used solely for the purpose of processing you order and improving our service to you. We will never sell on or disclose information to any third party whatsoever. Any information passed through this website is passed through a secure connection on the internet. If a customer wishes for their information to be removed from our database, this should be requested in writing to Glenstal Abbey, Murroe, Co Limerick V94 A725 Rep of Ireland or by emailing monks@glenstal.com

LAW
The terms of use shall be governed by and construed fully in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any person attempting to make fraudulent credit card transactions will be prosecuted with no exception.
